I have issues with my holiday requests

Different issues may arise when booking a request.

I have a java.net.SocketTimeoutException:timeout error message.

Your connection dropped while sending your request and our server could not reach you back in time. For security reasons, we have a time frame in which transactions must be completed. Try swapping Wi-Fi or use your operator network.

Or, you may not use the latest app version. Go to your app store and update your app to the latest version. You can set your app to be automatically updated.

Why can I delete some holiday requests but not others?

Your company has set a time delay when Holiday could be cancelled or not. Contact your local administrator or line manager if you need a holiday to be cancelled and you haven't the delete button showing.

Why my Holiday request has been rejected?

This could happen when you are requesting the last available holiday slot.

If you and someone else had created the same holiday request at the very same time, your colleague just clicked send half a second before you! Always wait for the booking confirmation.
An absence occurrence matching your requested dates could have been recorded after your sent your request and was recorded before your request was checked.

Why my colleague has a holiday available and not me?

Sometimes holiday slots are available to certain staff and not to another group. It is down to your skill set profile that you might possess but your colleague has not.
If you see a recurring pattern of unavailable days over time (several months), it also might be a company setting issue. Please, contact your local administrator.

I have received a notification that a holiday is available on next day, but the app says that it is not available or the day is locked

When receiving a notification that your next shift is available for a holiday, you have until 23:59 to book it. After this time, the day is locked. This self-service is on a first comes, first served. If there is only one slot left, but it has been already booked by your colleague, you would see the day in RED meaning fully booked.
