Validating Staff member swapping their shifts

How the shift trading (swap shift) works in SMRT?

Three entities are involved when swapping shift.

The Asker or the staff who initially seeks to swap a shift.
The Askee or the staff with who the Asker want to swap a shift.
The management who will grant / reject the swap request.

We have two operational mode when dealing with swap request.

Manual mode.:

The Asker send a request to the Askee from the Staff App or the Web-based App.
The Askee accepts the request.
The request is automatically sent to Management to grant / reject.

In Auto mode:

The Asker send a request to the Askee from the Staff App or the Web-based App.
The Askee accepts the request.
The request is instantaneously dealt by SMRT applying all rules the Management has set out.

Let's see how it does look like in SMRT?

Awaiting Approval: Asker sent a request to the Askee, but the Askee has not responded to the request, The Askee has 48 hours to accept/reject the swap.

Awaiting approval

Pending: This is the Manual mode page where the Asker and Askee have agreed to swap shift. It now requires a Management validation.

Pending

The above picture is empty because it is switched to auto mode, therefore there is nothing for the Management to do when used this way.

Booked In: The Askee has accepted the Asker's swap request and SMRT has applied all management rules to grant.

Booked In

Rejected: The Askee rejected the Asker's swap request.
