The Positions Settings.
This article will show you the step by step guide to create a new position.
At times, your floor may evolve and a new game can be added to your mix. Before we can add the new position to the Break List, we need to create it from scratch and to define how that position should behave with the automation.
Click on Break List (main menu).
Click on Positions (Break List sub-menu).
This will load a list of all the positions that are recorded in the system.
Click on the button "New Position" (top right of your screen).
This will load the following page.

Give it a unique and short name.
Select the skills needed to operate this position. We can have a multi selection per position (i.e. VIP; DEA; AR)
Select the area where this new position will be located.
Select the primary job position for this new position. Usually, we will use JKT for supervision and DEA for table position.
Tick the type of position you are creating:
Point of sale - Gaming tables.
Supervisor - Pit position.
Non-productive - Task that has nothing to do with the operation (i.e Cards; Office...).
To be used in Autofill - The position will be included into the automation. If left unticked, the position will be copied over in every interval.
Is Swing Break - We can isolate a number of positions from the main Break List automation and leave them to the user.
Status:
Closed - This is the status we will select when creating a new position.
Open - We can open a table on the floor from here, however, we have that functionality from the Break List view.
Open not for BL automation - This is how you want to manage the non-productive position. It can be left to the user to update or incorporated within the automation.
Unavailable - Position decommissioned.
Save.
Note that we have only created a position in the system. This position will not show up on Floor view. See the article on how to add a position in the Floor view.
When creating a Supervision position, we have the possibility to link one or several Point of Sale position to the Pit.
What effect it will have on the Break List?
In case you have couples in your team, the system will prevent them from supervising each other. for example, we have linked AR01 and BJ01 to Pit 01 Grand. A couple made of a supervisor and a dealer would not be sent to Pit 01 Grand at the same time.
