How to use the Command buttons and what the Break List metrics mean?

On the upper side of your Break List screen, there are a number of command buttons and a set of metrics to help you manage your workforce.



The Command button

1. Button 1: This is the auto mode function. When ON, the Break List would update itself on every interval without your input. When you have Staff starting or finishing their shift, the Break List would not open or close automatically positions, so in such a case it is best to switch to Manual mode.

1. Drop List 2: This a skill highlighting function. You may want to check how many Staff with a specific skill are available to you.

1. Button 3: This is the Single view. All Staff are stacked up in one single list.

1. Button 4: This is the Split view. It is like a pen and paper Break List with 2 lists. The left one is your Staff coming back from BRK or starting their shift. The right one is your staff currently working on the floor. This list is sorted by the highest working spell.

1. Button 5: This is the Floor view. It is like a bird view when you can visualise all your positions and your Staff allocation.

1. Button 6: This function lets you go to the previous intervals should you need to update a Staff who didn't go to the correct position.

1. Button 7: This function lets you go to the next intervals should you need to anticipate an interval in the future.

1. Button 8: This is the End of Shift function. When it is clicked, the Break List will replace all your Staff finishing their shift.

1. Button 9: Depending on your permission, this function displays an interval audit log.

1. Button 10: This function let you reset the entire interval except the non-productive positions.

1. Button 11: This is the auto fill function. When clicked, the Break List will provide you with an automated interval which you can manually adjust should you require.

The Metrics

Note that each Metrics represent a value within the current and the next interval except the Scale and the AWT.

Section 1. JKT: This is the number of staff categorised as JKT (supervisor).

Section 2. DEA: This is the number of staff categorised as DEA (dealer).

Section 3. TOT: This is total number of all staff available.

Section 4. POS: This is the number of positions opened.

Section 5. NON-P: This is the number of non productive position opened.

Section 6. BRK: This is the number of breakers available.

Section 7. SCALE: This is the length of your interval.

Section 8. MWT: This stands for Maximal Working Time. This is the longest session that your staff would work overtime.

Section 9. AWT: This stands for Average Working Time. This is the average of all sessions that your current team has been working.
