How to terminate a contract?
In this article, we explain how to remove a Staff from Smart Rota and how to transfer a staff to another department.
There are several ways of doing this depending on the situation.
A The Staff has resigned or has been dismissed.
- Click on Team.
- Search for the staff name.
- Click on the hyperlink.
- Click on Contract.
- Edit the current active contract.
- Enter the termination date or the last working day (LWD)
- Select the reason as to why the staff must be terminated.
- Click save.
B The Staff is transferred to a department that does not use SMRT.
- Click on Team.
- Search for the staff name.
- Click on the hyperlink.
- Click on Contract.
- Edit the current active contract.
- Enter the termination date or the last working day (LWD)
- Select the reason "Department transfer".
- Click save.
C The Staff is transferred to a department that do use SMRT. This action musy be performer by a local admin or HQ role/permission
- Click on Team.
- Search for the staff name.
- Click on the hyperlink.
- Click on Contract.
- Create a new contract.
- Enter all the details with the new department, contract type, new rotation.
- Click save.
