How to edit a clock on your staff member time card?

If you require your member of staff to clock in and out, you would need to know how to fix a missing clock or create an occurrence from the time card.



Click on Team.
Click on Time card.
Select the "week beginning" to search for anomalies.
Click on the staff member name to open the time card.

The system will return a list of staff member with clocking anomalies.

An anomaly occurs when a clock is RED.
too early.
too late.
after a shift has started.
before a shift ends.

A valid Clock IN or OUT will be Green.

A missing clock edited by the user will be Black.

A valid clock edited by the user will be Amber.


Time card

Click on "Review" to validate the anomaly. When fixing clocks within the settings, the review button will disappear.

In Site > Settings > Business parameters, you can set the "anomaly time period". This will affect all departments using the system.

To edit a clock on the time card, click on "Edit". This will open a pop up window where you can add, delete or edit a time clock.

To create an occurrence from the time card, mouse over the section of the shift not covered by a clock. It will become green with the symbol +. Click on the "+" and a menu will appear. Select the type of occurrence and a pre-populated occurrence form will load up. Just select the pay code and reason, then save.
