How to create an ABSENCE occurrence?

In this article, we explain how the to record an ABSENCE occurrence.



Click on Dashboard.
Click on Occurrence list.
Click on the Absence button. This will open the occurrence form for Absence.
Select a date.
Select a staff member.

What information to enter?




Select a Reason from the drop down list.
Enter the Time From.
Enter the Time to.
Click the All Shift button if the occurrence is to be recorded for the whole shift.
Tick the Notice box, if the Staff member warned you of the absence before it occurred.
Select the Pay Code . This should be selected according to your payroll policy.
The Next day the occurrence ends is populated to the next day when the All shift is clicked. It means this occurrence will last for one shift.
Should you wish to extend the occurrence, select the day in the calendar when the occurrence ends. This will be the Return To Work date (RTW).
The Shift indicates the length of the occurrence.
Click Save to record the occurrence.
