How to add/remove staff skills in bulk?

In this article, we explain how to update a skill for multiple employees in one click. We can perform the 3 following action:



To add one or several skills.
To remove one or several skills.
To update skill ratings.

How to add skills in bulk?



Go to Settings/Departments/Skills, and click on the "Skills" hyperlink.

Settings/Departments page

Select "Add" function.


Adding a skill

Select the employees that need to have the skill added.
Select the skill.

You can select multiple skills

Select skill rating.
"Overwrite existing rating". Select this option, should you wish to overwrite a selected employee existing rating.


How to remove skills in bulk?



Go to Settings/Departments/Skills.

Settings/Departments/Skills

Select "Remove" function.


Removing a skill

Select the employees that need to have the skill removed.
Select the skill.

You can select multiple skills

Select skill rating.

You will need to repeat the process for each skill rating

"Overwrite existing ratings" - Note, this does not apply to the process of removing a skill, therefore you can leave the selection as is.
